What's New Pussycat?

What's new pussycat? Woah, Woah
What's new pussycat? Woah, Woah
Pussycat, Pussycat
I've got flowers
And lots of hours
To spend with you.
So go and powder your cute little pussycat nose!
Pussycat, Pussycat
I love you
Yes, I do!
You and your pussycat nose!
What's new pussycat? Woah, Woah
What's new pussycat? Woah, Woah
Pussycat, Pussycat
You're so thrilling
And I'm so willing
To care for you.
So go and make up your cute little pussycat face!
Pussycat, Pussycat
I love you
Yes, I do!
You and your pussycat face!
What's new pussycat? Woah, Woah
What's new pussycat? Woah, Woah
Pussycat, Pussycat
You're delicious
And if my wishes
Can all come true
I'll soon be kissing your sweet little pussycat lips!
Pussycat, Pussycat
I love you
Yes, I do!
You and your pussycat lips!
You and your pussycat eyes!
You and your pussycat nose!

I'll take a stab at what the point of this post is.

You're criticising the burka. I know very little about Islam, but I will venture that the burka is worn by some in Islam (not very many, I don't think) out of the recognition of the transitory and ultimately unfulfilling nature of physical phenomena, and therefore the ultimate futility of living our lives trying to fulfil our physical desires. Better to practise Islamic metaphysics and achieve liberation from the physical world, for the world is evil.

...this post is not a critique of the burka or any other type of dress or uniform...freedom of choice and freedom from oppression is my only interest.
...the juxtaposition of tom jones singing what's new pussycat and a group of shrouded women serves to illustrate the contrast of cultures.
...it also calls into question the practice of theocratic regimes forcing women to dress this way.
